Questions:

I have two images of the same object and scenery which was taken from two different devices kept as close as possible to each other. I have an application with an ImageViewer class which can go through these images by a swipe. But there is the obvious shift in images during transition which I want to minimize as much as possible.
I have tried openCV morph effect to create a warp effect but unless the feature points are manually entered, the transition does not look good. I have tried to automate the feature points by doing the image subtraction and feeding in the difference in the image. I have tried getting corner points from Harris corner detection algorithm. But all these are not good enough as compared to manually entering feature points. I have tried align the images manually with respect to the other one to minimize transition effect, but then overlap is not perfect for every object in the image. What else should I try? Any suggestions are welcome.
