Push updates for html embedded Google sheets document?

I am using the html embed function for publishing google sheets to display 2 particular cells (using the range function) on a webpage for a client. Right now it seems to take between 20-60 minutes for the website to get updated data from the sheet.

Right now the only workarounds I have are to un-publish, then republish from within docs, or delete my embed code, upload site files; then re-insert and re-upload.

My question is: Is there a way for either Google to tell the published html to update from that side, OR is there a js or other function that can tell the site to update the link to the document?

I also tried looking in Google’s embedding arguments and there doesn’t appear to be a ‘refresh time’ or anything like that. Or maybe there is a really simple mechanism I am missing?
